Bunsay - the first nine
The first nine holes at Bunsay offer a mature and attractive loop with sweeping views over lovely Essex countryside. It is a course ideal for golfers newer to the game, but with a level of challenge to keep more experienced golfers interested every time they play.
At just over 2800 yards the course may not be long, but tree lined fairways still require a combination of accurate tee shots and good approach play to score well. Carefully maintained fairways coupled with hardy and well drained greens mean the course stands up well in all weather conditions, and good golf can be enjoyed all year round.
Badgers Par 3
Badgers is a truly impressive course, boasting outstanding natural beauty and rightly regarded as one of the finest examples of a Par 3 layout in the country. Hidden away in a beautiful and tranquil spot surrounded by woodland, the course has an abundance of water and sand features. It should never be mistaken for a pitch and putt, with every hole over 130 yard bar the 8th. Badgers provides a fantastic challenge even for the most experienced golfer, and there is simply no better place to improve your short game accuracy.
The course takes its name from the clans of wild badgers who live within a special conservation area adjacent to the 3rd. With every hole a joy to play, Badgers Par 3 has become a firm favourite of many who have enjoyed it over the years.
